Beaded Bitch

It all started with Morgan, our first Greyhound. Who knew they "needed"
so many accessories? Fancy martingale collars, coats, sweaters,
pajamas, hoodies, booties - you name it, they wear it. Originally, I
thought all the pampering and fussing over their Greyhounds was
something the owners enjoyed and that the hounds couldn't care less
about. But after a while I started to notice how proudly Morgan, and
Cosmo - our second Grey - strutted around once I put a new collar on
them. Their heads held high; their noses pointed ever so slightly more
towards the sky (as if they weren't already full enough of themselves).

As a longtime fan of nice stuff, including jewelry (a small "hobby" of
mine, lovingly nurtured by my fantastic husband who was smart enough
to figure out early on the quickest way to my heart was through the
diamond mine), making fashionable, high quality necklaces for hounds
seemed like a logical leap. Over time, as I noticed that much of my
necklaces-designed-for-hounds were actually being purchased and worn
by their owners, I decided to branch out into earrings and bracelets
actually designed for humans.

All my jewelry, be it for humans or the better-than-humans, is made
using only the coolest beads, including real freshwater pearls, jasper,
obsidian, jade, agate, turquoise, shell, Swarovski crystals, and some of
the neatest glass beads around. Every necklace and bracelet is strung on
stainless wire, so it's guaranteed not to stretch, and finished with either
lobster claw or decorative toggle clasps. All the wires in my earrings are
either 22k gold plating over surgical steel or sterling silver plating over
surgical steel. For those with extra sensitive ears, 14k gold filled or .925
sterling silver ear wires can be substituted for a modest, additional
charge.
